(e) a single judge of the high court was empowered to hear any appeal against the appellate decree or order.under the travancore-cochin high court (act v of 1125) as amended by act 1 of 1952, the single judge could hear appeals of a valuation not exceeding rs. while commenting upon the scope of the expression 'administration of justice' occurring in entry 3 .....levy of a luxury tax on tobacco for the period beginning with the 17th day of august, 1950 and ending on the 31st day of december, 1957, and the validation of the levy .....
in the kerala high court to challenge the validity of demand notice dated january 21, 1964 as also the vires of the act.4.
